I had a realization. This podcast is kinda like Escape From Tarkov. Small team, wanted to make something cool. Then, suddenly it absolutely blows up, money comes pouring in, and suddenly the expectations of them are through the roof. Despite the game and this podcast alike being very unique, and surprisingly extremely popular, some fans won’t stop complaining and hating on the devs/hosts because “I give money, you make content better” but in reality Sam and co-hosts here just want to have a casual podcast with limited expectations. Once the patrons begin to influence work load and frequency of uploading, the podcast will actually decrease in enjoyment, because it won’t be genuine. Similarly, BSG and Nikita must maintain their vision for Tarkov. In both cases, we should expect that the large income will allow for a high-quality product, but the vision for the product itself should not change just because there’s a large player/fan base. Pay your money, and you get what you get. As a community we cannot rally together and complain about the outcome when we knew what we were getting ahead of time. I bought Tarkov knowing it’s a buggy/ hacker infested game. I subscribed to this podcast knowing it’s unorganized and unscripted. Quit complaining. If you don’t want to spend the money, don’t. Until BSG shuts off their servers and Sam stops uploading podcasts, you have no reason to complain. Thanks, and have a wonderful day
