rwing alpha 2.2! Improover, manage TM Savestates, and more!

Improovement

Using the improover, you can convert situations in your games into recordings, just by pressing dpad-down after the situation occurs in-game. The improover will export all the situations before the dpad-down press!

As you may know, the backend in fiction's improover app was actually tools I wrote for rwing! So it was pretty straightforward to add an improover to rwing.

You can export dpad presses by port, by character, or by connect code. You can also use the game preview to review the situation before exporting.

You can also click the "Recent Games" button to only add games from the last half-day. Each time you press it, more games get added in increments of 12 hours.

Indicators

Each dpad press will now correspond with an indicator on the timeline.

If you want to manually export a situation, you can Shift + Right Click to select from the current frame.

Recording Management

rwing can now help you organize your Training Mode recordings! Open Recording Management under Tools to bring up this menu.

Here you can rename, preview, and batch delete recordings. It also makes it easy to open the recording GCI file in a file explorer.

By hitting "Clean GCI Folder", you can easily remove all the old .gci.deleted gci files that fill up the folder.

More cool options will be available in this menu soon. Let me know if you have any ideas!

Config

I've added a bare-bones config menu to change paths and a couple options. More options (such as custom theming!) will be here in the future.

Here you can change between using the frame and the timer for timestamps inside of notes!

Hitboxes

rwing now has a basic hitbox viewer!

Desync Fixes

Every rwing release comes with desync fixes, and this one is no exception. I've fixed:
- Peach missing float when airborne
- the Turn state
- intangibility
- charging smash attacks
- the ECB bottom, which caused unexpected aerial interrupts
- getup attacks being incorrectly buffered
- the ground_index, fixing weird teleports across the stage
- the grab release position
- ledgegrab ECB data, fixing barely missed ledgegrabs

These fixes will be available in Fictions improover soon!

If you're wondering when FOD platforms / shy guys / whispy will be fixed, you're in luck! That's what I will be working on in the coming months.

Update Notification

I've added an update notification. You will be notified of the alpha 2.3 release inside of rwing!

Misc

- Command line arguments have been fixed. This also fixes "Open With" on windows!
- The default rwing export name has been changed from "rwing-export" to "rwing-export-f<frame>". This makes it easier to report desyncs and avoid overwriting your other recordings.
- Fixed crashes when minimizing, going through a playlist, and parsing some games.
- "Set Export Path" will now open at last chosen export path.
- Moving the cursor to a note will no longer move you to that frame unless it is in the timestamp.

This makes it easier to add new notes without losing your current frame.
