Swiming Spyro (Animation)

Actually I started it as a simple animation with plan to do it in 24 frame per second.
No signs of trouble.
But in the process of animation I noticed that I spending incredible a lot of time to draw hands. Even despite the fact I used simple style it still require too much amount of time(
So I decided to draw it in 12 Frames only =(

Anyway here I come up with another plan.
Several month ago one person suggested me to use special program for Interpolation (Adding frames between ones I have)
So I decided to try this program (Flow Frames)
Well, the result was interesting (click to the picture to see it animated)
But... unfortunately I noticed something... something strange...

Yeah, unfortunately the result if far from my wish(
But may be I am stupid and just don't know how to make it properly ^^
Anyway it was interesting experience.

Love the fact you made an animation of Spyro swimming while he couldn't swim until the... I think third game. Love it and looking forward to see more of your animations. They improve with each new project you did so far.

Actually "merged frames" is too visible by my opinion, I noticed it immediately^^ What about your question - do you have any example?

This is awesome! Also your attention to detail is crazy, I struggled to notice the problems you noticed in the two different versions. It goes to show the skill and attention to detail you have. I can't wait to see more stuff like this. Do you think some kind of breathing idle animation would be cool? Or maybe rain or water? I can't wait to see what your curiosity brings!
