NSFW-ish: Voidhunter Character Art and Updates on Archemi 7
Added 2024-08-31 05:37:32 +0000 UTCAfter several weeks of banging my face against Archemi 7, I've made a bit of a breakthrough. Excited to start sharing some of that soon. Sorry it's taken a while, but I definitely have a Process(tm) between books where I just Can't. That period is frustrating, and requires what amounts to a lot of anxious suffering as I draft pure crap, figure out what doesn't work, and redraft it. For every 100k words in an Archemi novel, there's probably another 80k of unpublished material.
I've also been working on regaining my drawing and painting skills. For various reasons, I've barely painted since 2016 - but I've been practicing a lot and working hard, especially on anatomy and perspective. I used to be a fairly skilled realistic portraiture painter, but I'm working on becoming more stylistically flexible.
I've also been teaching myself to draw comics.
This is Min-joon, the protagonist of the Voidhunter: Lightbringer, and hopefully the star of the graphic novels I hope to attempt in 2026: yes, after Archemi is concluded. MJ is a trans man and quite attractive. Fortunately he's also a slut, so there will probably be quite a few panels of his (exceptionally fine) ass. And other people's asses, because I am a degenerate who knows what he likes.
Voidhunter is in the same (multi)verse as Archemi and there may well be crossovers.
