This chapter was heavy.
I think we can all agree that Eliza's engagement party was beautiful. Elan and his family were briefly introduced, and it was clear Elan already knew about Libs, especially when he mentioned Monroe by accident.
There was a lot of tension in this chapter, especially with Liberty dancing with Tessa.
Or Monroe staring at Libs and the dress she was in.
Monroe interjecting was expected... or maybe it was unexpected to you guys:) How do we feel about the conversation they had? Monroe was all about complimenting Liberty, smelling her, then wanting to fight for her.
But Monroe apologizing to Liberty was definitely the highlight here.
Also, admitting that she lied all those months ago.
It definitely changes things. It also makes us wonder what really happened that night.
Liberty claims Monroe lied and that there are still consequences to that. Do we agree?
