This morning, our cellphones blurted a chorus of horrible loud sounds: an Amber alert. It scared the cat, who leaped off the bed and ran away across my face. One back claw opened up my face from the upper corner of my eye to the tip of my nose. I look like I've been glassed and am probably going to end up with a wicked scar. She got me down to the cartilage.
Assuming everything heals up well, I probably have a new pirate scar.

2019-04-24 00:59:13 +0000 UTCI had the interesting experience of pulling the split bridge of my nose apart to put peroxide in it this morning. Fortunately, both my wife and I are skilled and fearless first aiders, so we go onto it quickly.
