0.17.1 Delay (Again)

I really hate doing this after announcing at the start of the month my promise that the update would be out before 2024, but the effects of that recent curveball with that extremely vivid dream of having a family as a mother have compounded with me getting COVID from my family again. I've got a ton of congestion and a very sore throat, but I'm otherwise doing shockingly well for this being the third day of it. Yesterday, I slept close to 16 hours; the day before that, I had such brain fog that what should have been a ten-minute meal to cook mac and cheese turned into about a 75-minute endeavor as I lost ingredients after placing them down and just forgot what I was doing.

I'll be trying to get more writing done today, but it'll be limited in scope because nobody wants the visual novel equivalent of inedible mac and cheese made during a state of delirium. Unfortunately, there is a very real chance I will miss the end-of-month deadline I set for myself with all these delays from my mental and physical health having unexpected setbacks, and you all have the right to know that.
