📚Chris's Note: The following is the first of several little snippets I'm going to share as I come to the end of the writing process of the next book (which should be complete within 60-days).

I'm trying to be really careful as to not spoil anything for you!

To avoid any confusion, while it's the second following Fortuna's Rings, when I refer to this as Book 1, it's the first in the canon series of 7 books. To be clear, Fortuna's Rings I consider a "pilot" and isn't canon to the main Flux Destiny storyline.

As always, when I post these sneak peeks, they're unedited, so they could likely be changed in the final manuscript.

For context, this moment happens in a scene right before the midpoint of the book. Hugo, having been at Wolfgang Academy for several months, has seen his life suddenly turn around. He went from being a nobody to a rising star, he's got amazing new friends, and is making a lot of money from tips as a delivery boy for The 888 Noodle Shop... but he can't shake the feeling that something is off... 🤔
