In regards to make, I normally don't like a lot. It had always creeped me out when my ex-girlfriend and wife would look normal for the most part, then we had to go out and suddenly, they felt the need to put on clown make-up. Probably wanted to attract a better looking and successful person than me. However, in regards to Jem and the holograms, the whole show is predicated by over the top excess, whether it's clothing or make-up. It was the 80s after all. I'll comment about women's fashion later. It's clear, when the show is marketed towards girls or young girls it's just like all my Xs, the have to get all gussied up. They always market fashion accessories, hair play and make-up to program...I mean appeal to girls. So, like I said, normally, less is best, but in this case the more the better. Even while drawing, before put the make in, they like plain, saved the big hair, which is another talking point.

@Tim Phillips Yeah, I didn't mind that Roxy blended into the background, it just makes it difficult, at least for me, to remember how she looked, but I still like what I see when I look at her. And I also like how Stormer's make-up seems like an afterthought; I see that as being that she has a natural beauty or prettiness that just doesn't need a lot of make-up to accentuate it. And, as far as Pizzaz goes, I still think her body looked good, but I just feel like her face would actually look better to me with less make-up, or a different style of make-up, or maybe even with no make-up at all. But again, her body still looks sexy, and she's a fine character; I just don't personally care for that style of make up - the kind that over-accentuates the cheekbones and uses a ton of eyeshadow; look at the character of Mimi from the old "Drew Carrey Show", she uses the same style of make-up, and it makes that character look bad, too, but if you see pictures of the actress without that make-up, she's actually kind of pretty, everything considered.

@Chekcola You are 100% correct, and I agree. 😃👍

I can see your points about Pizzazz, however, I disagree about her make-up. Stormers out of the three looks the most like an afterthought. I like however, how Roxy blends into the background. Those are the characters I like the most. The ones who make a short one-shot appearance, but the 3 seconds they have on the screen make a huge impression. I'm looking at your sexy ass Auura Sing!

Aja is quite a cutie. I quite like Minx from The Stingers. I also actually like Jem's true form doing the He-Man/She-Ra/Superman trope of having an unassuming secret identity.

Stormer was given much softer features because she was portrayed the most sympathetic Misfits.

To each their own, certainly, but I always thought Stormer was the hottest Misfit. Roxy was fine, but I always thought she tended to disappear into the background most of the time, and Pizzaz seemed... older... Like, waaay older than any of the other girls; I always felt like she was an older musician who, while somewhat popular in her youth, fell deeper and deeper into mediocrity the older she got and folks lost interest in her for "the next big thing", which Jem and her friends happen to be, and this is why, out of all the Misfits, Pizzaz had such a personal hard-on for destroying everything having to do with Jem. Also, I never really liked Pizzaz's make-up; it looks like an OLD lady (and Pizzaz is not THAT old) who's trying too damn hard to still look young and hip, but it's obvious she's failing in that regard.

They certainly do! Especially Roxy. I've always thought she was the hottest Misfit. Aja for the Holograms.
