June 2018 Poster ("Caffeine of Reanimation")

Just as the mood in this poster suggests, I had a lot of trouble drawing this picture. Rest assured, this is not because I didn't take poll suggestions for this month, but rather due to a mild "art block". I don't get such blocks that often, and the only reason I could point toward was my participation in a game called "Passpartout", at the request of one of viewers on Twitch.

In short, it's an "job simulator" that guides you along the path of a starving artist by featuring your actual drawings in the game.

All I can say about this game is that, although novel, the game requires a great deal of creative output to make any progress. So much so that it affected my actual work of painting Patreon posters! I just couldn't come up with any compelling compositions for 2 days. Eventually I got a great suggestion from my brother and eventually "Caffeine of Reanimation" was done. I once again adopted a color palette, and went nuts on the texturing. It sorta resulted in a Dr. Seuss style.

Anyways, I'm going to try to go with Patron-suggested themes next time so I don't bump into art block again. Also no more Passpartout.
