Progress update

As I indicated previously, I took a break from new chapters to work on the TGAB manuscript, and that...did not go as I'd hoped. The project itself proved a lot more difficult and involved than I'd anticipated, and then just for flavor I had a flare-up of an old dental problem and a bad depressive episode right in the middle of it. The upshot of all this was that not only did it take way longer than I'd planned, but the whole time I just didn't have the spoons to take on more work in addition.
But I'm pleased to report that I finished the manuscript this morning, turned it in to Podium, and have had a subsequent exchange with the book's producer to prepare for the next steps. I'm pretty wrung out mentally and emotionally today, and also still having that fun depressive phase, so I'm trying to relax and rejuvenate myself.
I plan to jump back into work tomorrow. Next chapter will be the continuation of Hoard; my plans for it as both solid and vague, meaning I know what needs to be done but will have to work out how to get there as I go, and those are always the chapters that take the longest. Hopefully not too long; I would be delighted to have it posted by tomorrow night, but I don't want to promise that just yet.
Regardless, I'm back, the work is continuing, and there will be new chapters soon. Thanks for your patience, everyone.

Oh dang, did I miss an update? I didn't realize TGAB was actually getting published. Just the first book I assume?

It would be completely natural to take a break after such a large task, particularly with all the other things going on. I hope you feel better soon!
