Paper Mini Design Previews
Added 2018-07-30 19:41:37 +0000 UTCBeen a bit and wanted to touch back on the "Pitch Me a Monster Idea" goal reward.
We got a huge list of suggestions from people and I'm workin' my way through getting some designs drawn up for the ones that stood out to me.
In the mean time I wanted to share a few of the designs thus far,
Here's my take on Paul Beebe's suggested Mudkin:
- I like to imagine they hate being alone and an individual mudkin will usually panic and frantically try to combine with something (ideally another mudkin).
- Would like to do a Large scale "pile" of them as well.
Travis Spence recommended an Otyugh,
- I have wanted to do an Otyugh forever.
Roguish Wizard, UraganLux, and Dedalus Root suggested Myconids,
- Been needing to do some of these ever since releasing Zuggtmoy.
Jonthan Baliellas and Daniel Cathay mentioned Stirges,
- Such a common and classic monster, long over due that I create one.
Remorhas will likely be next, and also have (freakin' huge) Kraken design in the works.

man I want that otyugh! I have a session on sept 30 that is all about fighting one in Port nyanzaru. I think Trash mob has one i will have to use but yours is way better!

2018-08-01 17:02:46 +0000 UTCHeroic Maps have just announces that they are recreating the 1st 5 maps from HeroQuest in their own style but true to form. This is a tribute to how they got started. They plan to do more of the maps and maybe the expansions too.. But wouldn't it be cool to collaborate and recreate the HQ minis, doors, furniture etc in your own style.

2018-08-01 09:49:48 +0000 UTCI know that most people on this forum and on your Discord forum are D&D fans, and that in the main your excellent minis are generic enough to transfer to other systems. However, other systems have specific monsters. Myself I play Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay (4th Edition imminent!) So I would love to see the Skaven clans and Beastmen hordes and chaos mutant packs im your paper ranks as these are common foes these could be done without copyright infringement as they also appear in other systems
