Paper Mini Design Previews
Added 2018-08-15 01:30:12 +0000 UTCJust wanted to give another update on some of the designs I've been working on based on the "Pitch Me a Monster Idea" goal reward.
Remorhaz
- Classic monster for arctic adventures. Been wanting to take a crack at these guys forever.
Troll
- Kind of surprised it's taken me this long to go around to doing a troll mini.
- Should be able to get a few art variants from this that will work for a few of Mordenkainen's troll variants. (like the venom troll below)
Venom Troll
Githzerai
- Gith have been a fairly consistent request, so here's a take on a githzerai that I imagine could work for a Monk NPC or character.
Kraken
- This Kraken will be a multi-piece miniature, with the head/shoulders as one piece, with the tentacles and claw/fin minis separated so they can be moved about interdependently.

2018-08-16 20:35:58 +0000 UTCLove everything, but the Gith looks too elvish for my tastes. I would probably use it as an Elven monk. I just don't see it as a Gith. I'm very excited for the Remorhaz and the Kraken.

It's one of those silly D&D 1e monsters in the same category as the DuckBunny and the SpiderHorse. Basically, it's the Ettin of the bear world. A bear with two heads in place of one. While we're at it, a Duck Bunny and Spider Horse mini would be great too! :-D

My party faced off against some hill giants in their den, along with some bugbears, ogres and goblins, all from your minis, and it really made the whole experience that much richer!

2018-08-15 01:40:07 +0000 UTCI got a couple more designs i'd like to sketch out and then I'll be putting 'em all to a patron vote to see which to prioritize first. So probably mid-september-ish. Troll might get knocked out a bit earlier since the Council voters took a shine to him. If you didn't mind just having the front view for the Remorhaz I could probably mock up a color version for you to use in the mean time - when would you need it?
