This chapter went through an entire rewrite πβat first it leaned much darker, but something kept nudging us toward a softer, cozier path. Instead of pure horror, we found it more meaningful to let Daniel begin to enjoy his strange new life with Astrid. ππΌ What started as terror is slowly transforming into a tender, unsettling comfortβand that felt like the right direction for this story to take. π
