2025-02-09 07:12:19 +0000 UTCthere’s nothing concrete in terms of spoilers because the show deviates from the books in a lot of ways, but they’ve insinuated in SEVERAL interviews that they want to keep claudia present in the story in some capacity, and in the book after queen of the damned claudia haunts lestat for his behavior during their time in new orleans (kind of like louis with lestat this season except she’s actually a ghost not a hallucination) so she stays with him throughout the novel, they might incorporate that into the next season even if it’s out of order, but claudia is DEFINITELY staying around

2025-02-09 07:09:35 +0000 UTCI hadn’t thought of it because it’s so iconic to the queen of the damned but it’s actually not completely unlikely that they’d give the bath scene to louis and lestat in a later season, the showrunners seem to want to eliminate some of the unnecessary lestat love interests since they want to centralize the love story between louis and lestat, so the tv show might do the akasha/lestat relationship in a less romantic manner since she does kidnap him and he’s against her ideas in the books

Second for the daniel/armand situation: they are actually a thing in the books, it was conducted very differently in the show bc in the books they were 'lovers' when daniel was human then armand turned him after a few years so im excited to see how they'll explore that. Assad Zaman (Armand's actor) has been speaking in interviews that he was so excited for it and that he couldnt wait to get with Daniel in the show as soon as he saw him lmaooooo. Lastly, I'm soooo excited for the vampire lestat and the fashion. I read somewhere that they were going to take inspiration from Rocky Horror so I'm hoping we get slutty lestat in a corset and fishnets so bad 🤞🏼 It was such a fun ride, im not even joking i was on my third rewatch of your iwtv reactions when i got the notification for this. i loved every single one of them and i cant wait for the ride to continue when season 3 comes out

From what I've seen in some interviews with the writers and the producers, they alluded to that. So Claudia might be back in more ways than one ;) ! Also, I really need to see who they're gonna cast as Akasha even though she might only appear at the end of the season and set up the events of s4, which will be the adaptation for Queen of the Damned. I, so cannot wait. On another note, I need to see Louis enjoying his single life putting rogue vampires in their place and entertaining beautiful men in Tijuana if he feels like it. Gay people are petty as fuck and we punish ourselves in the process LOL. And again, Lestat saved Louis because he's always going to save Louis but I truly think that if he could've, he would've saved Claudia too because he did love her, he just had to pick one and he's never going to let Louis die no matter what and the fucked up part is that no one chose Claudia again. But Louis and Lestat are always going to share that grief now, so it'll be interesting, they don't have to bare it alone anymore. And I'm excited to see Louis embrace being a vampire because he never really has.
