Big Box's Lunatic Deck
Added 2023-04-26 23:23:18 +0000 UTCHere it is! Big Box's lunatic deck. A full one in four cards have been replaced or updated. The changes here focus on leaning into what makes the lunatic deck fun — powerful, fun, and impactful effects drawn at random. To this end we trimmed cards that led to unfun play patterns while adding new over-the-top cards.
To that effect, Voile is now exclusively a main deck card as it led to long and repetitive turns and set up some unfun combos. No more repeatedly cycling main deck and lunatic cards for three hours!
At the top of the list is the removal of Focus, which was widely regarded as the Old Maid of the lunatic deck. It was replaced with the flashy new Gale Geta. Supernatural Border also got cut from the lunatic deck and upgraded into the powerful Gap Folding Umbrella. It's near artifact power level but doesn't have the artifact card type. Leave it to Yukari to cheat.
On that note, we added several new artifact cards, including a number of "weird" artifacts such as Mask of Hope, Kaname-ishi, and Kappa Arms. Like Uchide's Mallet and Jeweled Pagoda, they drastically change the rules just for you. Meanwhile, Rod of Remorse lets you punish others for being rude!
New powerful actions are the new Psychokinesis, an AOE version of Seal Away, and Sabotage, which lets you set up someone's flip or draw.
