Glass and broken

The kitchen door rattled, and Ghostface's menacing laughter echoed. The glass pane shattered, and a bloody knife pierced through.
Sarah's lifeless body slumped against the door. Her blonde hair was visible, tangled against the shattered glass. Blood oozed through the broken pane, pooling on the floor. Ghostface's gloved hand beckoned Marzy.
Paralyzed with fear, Marzy summoned every last ounce of courage and crept away, desperate to escape.
