Impaled in the woods

Megan trekked through the woods. Suddenly, Jason emerged from the shadows, his hockey mask glinting menacingly.
Without warning, Jason stabbed Megan from behind, his machete slicing through her body, impaling her. She crumpled to the ground, her blonde hair matted with blood.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, Jason vanished into the darkness, leaving Megan's lifeless body to be discovered by the next unsuspecting hiker.
