OL2: Step 2 Prologue Script Preview

In Step 2, you will automatically have some school classes with the Qiu and Tamarack. But the leads who are in your homeroom are random! You might not have your buddy there with you just 'cause you're house neighbors. Don't worry, that won't make you lose many interactions. It's just another little touch that adds variety to different playthroughs.

“Homeroom Teacher: Mr. Murray, Room 28. Another Murray class. That hadn’t happened since fifth grade.”

“And it was a true “Murray”, not some other random guy with the same last name as the Mrs. Murray you knew. The only teacher Murrays in Golden Grove were a married couple with two kids.”

“You’d managed to get both before your standard education ended. Some people in town said that was good luck, others… didn’t. Some would wish you the very best in your time of hardship.”

“You turned your paper towards Qiu to show them.”

“Their eyes narrowed at you from over their winning ticket, also known as a schedule sheet.”

qiu “I knew I was the Murrays’ favorite.”

“They tapped the edge of the schedule sheet against their chin.”

qiu “Mr. Murray? I’ve got him too.”

“[Qiu] spoke distantly, despite being a whole two feet away.”

“She skipped along. If there was room, and no one could see, she would’ve leapt.”

“She lowered her packet apologetically, checking again to be sure of her words. Tamarack felt bad for any awkwardness, even when she had no control over it.”

qiu “They’re doing this on purpose.”
