Month End Post: February 2025 Wrap-Up

The end of February is upon us, my friends! It may be the shortest month of the year, but that doesn’t mean our team worked any less. We’ve got a ton of updates to share about what went down this month and what you can expect in March. Read on, fellow Valentines! 💕

Monthly Content Summary:

On the community side, we had several noteworthy announcements. First, the Winter 2025 contest wrapped up and winners were announced! If you’d like to check out these outrageously well-done pieces, you can find them here. 

We also celebrated February 17th, Random Acts of Kindness Day. As a special thank-you for participating in our first contest, all entrants were sent a folder of Our Life wallpapers! If you entered the contest, and haven’t received that email, please reach out to community@gbpatchgames.com to let me know. ☺️

On the 18th, GB announced the results of the episodic poll that went out last month. As a recap, this poll asked the community if they preferred to see Our Life: Now & Forever be released as one full game, or in separate episodes over time. The intent behind this idea was an empathetic one – given how unpredictable and combative the world has been, GB wanted to bring some peace to our community. The results were completely split – a nearly 50/50 division between “I want episodes” and “I don’t want them/I don’t care.” For this reason, GB made the call to maintain the usual “one game release” format, but announced that there will be several major demo updates throughout the year, to continue giving folks content. Game Progress:

GB continued her progress on “Homecoming” – as we mentioned last month, this is the longest draft she has ever written for a Moment! It continues to grow, and she hopes to have it wrapped up in March. 

A new Patreon beta was released! This new update includes Part 2 of Colorful Class, as well as the first half of “Home”, the tenth Moment. 

Two adorable work-in-progress posts of a Tamarack CG were also released this month! (As a person with very slim drawing talent 😅, I love seeing the process behind works of art like the character CGs.)
