Also, this event does split at one point and getting one branch will show you more scenes than the other version right now. I'll mention at the bottom how to get the extra story.

Screenshots can't be posted, videos can't be uploaded, even discussing what occurs in the events publicly is not allowed and will get your access to future builds revoked.
You can do all of those things within the private GB Patch Discord server or leave your feedback as a comment.

And since we've had some problems in the past with so many people downloading beta builds that they get locked out by Google Drive, I've uploaded mirror builds! If the first ones listed don't work, you can try these.

Or you can bypass the quota by logging in to a Google Drive account, then on the file's download page, click "Add shortcut to Drive" in the upper right corner. Save it to your Drive, then create a new folder, put it inside, and download the folder!
Save files from the prior beta should work in this beta!

Now here's the little spoiler, if you want to know. This chunk of the script includes more scenes if you get upset and choose to have Omi and Opa come downstairs. Sticking with just Qiu and Tamarack stops things sooner, since the continuation for that is in Part 2.

2024-07-12 19:20:13 +0000 UTCJust now realized the text at the bottom about it lasting longer if taking the upset route, I'll be looking forward to trying it out!! I shouldn't be surprised though, so far the way that these types of choices (being upset, running away, feeling embarrassed, etc.) have been handled in the games, have been amazing. Bugs and such aside, I don't ever feel shamed for making decisions for my characters, 'cause I can trust that there's a way to either fix it, talk it through or generally just, not feel like one is accidentally messing it all up because of one or just a few "bad" choices. That, along with the rolling back with mouse/the "back" button on android, makes me less anxious to try out the choices I'd usually avoid, getting a lot of replay-ability. I would like to say that I can't wait to see the rest, but with the amazing characters, art, writing and everything else that we are getting, I'd understand the need for proper rest and downtime with friends. Make sure to take care of yourself and know that even if you don't reach all of your planned goals for the month, you still deliver some absolutely wonderful work!! Take care <3

2024-07-05 18:52:34 +0000 UTCI removed all the versions originally, and have most of my storage available. All the other versions seem to work too, so I'm not sure what it is. I appreciate the help. I can always wait until the next update in case it's just something finicky about my phone. I'm a long time fan so just playing the newer version on my laptop is A ok too :)

But there are flagging issues that are making things negative when they shouldn't and not being able to choose other reasons to be upset. Thanks for sharing your playthrough details!

I did choose for my MC to feel bad that the neighbors always had to do favors for me, but the game seemed to take that to mean I was extremely moody and against this entire sleepover.

2024-06-30 00:47:42 +0000 UTCI was a bit confused when I chose the MC to be excited about the sleepover and then Granny said something and my MC started complain how the slumber party isnt fun. I am also curious on How Qiu & Tam will react to the MC's stuffie or if they do. Still to this day I have to sleep with a stuffie and I've have had many people react in different ways. (Random sidenote: Took years but finally found a keeper, My Boyfriend sleeps with Stuffies too) lol Also I don't think I've said this enough but I love your games.

First two may be due to loading a save, but the rest is "contained" to the moment so I don't think so! - At the beginning of the moment, it says "You were going to the Baumann's place next. It was pretty much the last building in town you knew and hadn't been to yet." - but my MC went there previously already? Not only in the intro, but also in Fancy Fun. That one may be caused by loading a save though, I imagine. - Game assumes Tamarack's grandma is MC's "granny", which isn't something I have decided for my MC to think. But that may also be due to the save load. - I also had the line "You REALLY wished she hadn't made this a "veritable slumber party". You just wanted it to be over. No surprises, no "fun". This wasn't fun." - that segment doesn't really fit my choices. In the first choice of the moment I picked the "It was going to be fine" option, so unsure but tentatively optimistic I guess. And in the second choice, when learning thar Qiu would be there too, the "Your heart began to race. How were you supposed to sleep now?!" one, because my MC crushes on Qiu and he doesn't know how he's going to sleep with Qiu there. But that doesn't necessarily mean MC is so opposed to the slumber party in itself, right? And it continues later, considering the MC was then uninterested in the game Qiu suggests playing and so on. I wouldn't have picked that sort of thoughts at all as spending time with Qiu and playing with them and Tamarack is fun - it's only the sleeping that's an issue. - The biggest issue: since I chose for my MC to not know how he'd sleep after hearing Qiu would be there, it was a bit strange that he was thinking about missing his mother instead, once time to sleep came. She shouldn't be a factor here at all? Especially when Qiu supposedly "got it right" when asking if it's because MC's mother isn't there. Since, you know, it wasn't because of that at all. And it's worse in the choices where my actively MC thinks about how he misses his mom and I get a whole very emotional conversation about that but... well, it isn't the reason why doesn't feel right based on previous choices. It would be about not having his own bed or something like that based on that Qiu choice before?

One reveal for each of her sleeves" the line of text that appears for me immediately afterwards is "You REALLY wished she she hadn't made this a "veritable slumber party". You wanted this to be over. No surprises, no "fun". This wasn't fun". Despite the fact that my MC at this point had been excited for the slumber party/Qiu's involvement, it feels like there was supposed to be text box options that didn't appear. I reloaded the event and it happened again so I didn't accidentally click anything without looking.
