2023-05-25 14:10:33 +0000 UTCI'm afraid that doesn't happen. You can have a bike or not, but it simply made it through the move in one piece and is useable for the MC if you do own one!

Such as whether the MC had a bike before the move (and if so, was that bike was damaged during the move or was the MC starting to grow out of the size range for old bike), if not (or the bike needed to be replaced), did Qiu's dad offered to help the MC get a new bike? A visit to the bike shop (if there is one in Golden Grove or would they have to go to a nearby larger town that does have one, or at least a larger store that also sells bikes, like Sears and Walmart), in order to actually buy a bike (or at least add some 'bells and whistles'/customize the bike, such as getting a basket or other kind of storage item(s), drink holder, safety lights). Come to think of it, if the bike was damaged during the move, or it needed some TLC thanks to it starting to rust/being well-used, but still well-loved, it be nice to be able to have it fixed while the MC and Qiu browse the store....
