[Development] Makin' Plans and Eating Cookies~!

Things have been in super high flux lately, as we continue to work on Paizuri University and gear ourselves up for what’s coming next after its completion.

For the last 2 months, many sweet things were eaten to help with planning and investigating several changes that we’ll need to make, in order to take the next big step.   

Some things are still up in the air, but there are a few things we have a fairly good idea about. And here’s some of them.

• Improving the Art - Leveling up Buka Chan’s art for super sexy cuties!
• Improving the Animations - Leveling up Zuri Sama’s animation skills for extra soft and bouncy animations.
• Upgrading Zurizuri Engine - Cleaning up the mess and making it solid again.
• Smaller games - For all of the above!

Paizuri University has limited what we can safely do, locking us into a style and way of working, which led us to making huge compromises to what we wanted to do with it. 

We also made a lot of mistakes! And as a result it’s been difficult to improve the quality of Paizuri and also grow our Patreon to support it. And we’d like to change that!

So! 

Our hope is to go smaller, at least for a while. The idea is to safely improve everything without it having too great an impact on us, or our Patrons. 

It also means we can focus on making things look and feel better with each game, experiment with ideas more and get better feedback for what we’re working on.

If it all goes well, we can grow our Patreon with newer games that show an improvement. And the most important part, more new content more often for y’all!

BUT! If something does go wrong, we can manage it a little better without compromising too much.

At least that’s part of the plan. *fingers crossed*

We still have plenty more to talk about, but we’ll talk more about that in later posts! (else this will turn into a giant wall of text vv”)
