[Change Log] Paizuri University v0.3.14!!!

 The next Patron release is coming (v0.3.14) of Paizuri University! 

We had a bit of a blow out this past week, losing a lot of time to pretending we’re not making naughty things in front of people who couldn't leave due to obligations... ...vagueness aside... ...we’ve crunched some hardcore late nights for this release to get as much as we can in!

We’ve also replaced the 3D gameplay scenes with new 2D ones with a brand new screen navigation system. Long story short, the 3D gameplay was killing a lot of time, when something simpler can do just as well in its stead. 

So with that change, new side stories can go in much sooner and less time will be wasted on getting the 3D gameplay sections working, or risk breaking the project with major changes. And don’t worry, we’ll be revisiting it, just not for Paizuri University ; )

So what can you expect in the upcoming release!?

Here’s the list of changes!

Game

• Animated H-Scene - Kareen Deep Throat (Sounds Still Coming)
• Updated Character Avatar - Kareen (+12 new emotes)
• Updated Character Avatar - Evelyn (complete redo + lots of new emotes!)
• Updated Scenery - Sewing Lab (WIP)
• Updated Scenery - Haunted Building Front
• Updated Prologue H-Scene - Kareen on the bed with magazine
• New Scenery - Photography Building Main Area
• New Scenery - Photography Building Hallway
• Dialogue rewrites for better flow, tweaks, spelling and grammar fixes.
• Scrolling Scenes will now change mouse icon near edges of scene.
• Lots and lots of bug fixes.

Adventure Mode

• Replaced 3D Photography Building scene with a 2D one using the new Adventure scene navigation.

Engine

• Added Support for Cursor Icons.
• Added support for scene navigation in Adventure Scenes. (WIP)
• New Z-Script Analyzer. Helps us find problems with script commands and resources so we can fix them!
• Workflow improvements!
• Lots of bug fixes.

Known Issues

• Save games in the 3D scenes will continue to work, but upon leaving and returning you will be sent to the new 2D scenes. 
• If your save game is in a 3D scene, we recommend going to the “Student Lounge” and then leaving to the hallway before interacting with anything, else it may lead to bugs. 
• Some old save games may behave strangely due to internal dialogue handling changes.

Due to the interruptions we’ve been having and the need to release this so all Patron tiers can get their rewards this month, there may be some bugs we didn’t catch. Let us know if you find any really bad ones and we’ll be sure to patch them during the week.

What’s Next?

A public release! We hoped to get one out this month, but we had a blow out with time as mentioned above... no... not the Kareen imag... nevermind...

Thanks to our Patron support, Buka Chan will be taking time away from their day job to work on Paizuri University a lot more for a while. So there will be more colored versions of H-Scenes, character avatars and backgrounds!

We’ll also be working to get more cutscenes in! We’re thinking a Nara one. ; )

Zuri Sama will also be working to stabilize the game. There have been a lot of little bugs popping up lately, so they’ll be stomping out as many as they can.

Kareen and Diana’s Aphrodisiac Birthday Cake picture is also coming! Buka Chan is aiming to get it finished before the end of the month.
