[Change Log] Paizuri University v0.3.8!

This month, we went all out on the writing and art for all the new scenes in Chapter 3. 

And we’re feeling pumped! All the background placeholder art is now in, and the main story is 90% complete.

We also introduced the first little minigame! It’s nothing super special but we do hope you get a good laugh out of it. Especially since Zuri Sama has been setting up the gag for months!

So what's new in v0.3.8?

Game

• New Character Avatar - Leena (a bunch)

Engine

• New Backlog system. Keep track of the previous conversation. Still needs work.
• Better control over Character Avatar depth sorting.
• Minor bug fixes.

What Next?

The Character Avatar system requires a much needed overhaul to address some limitation we’ve been facing, especially with some of the latest scenes. So Zuri Sama will be working out what it’s going to take to make the change, and then make it happen.

They’ll also be mixing that with a bit of side story writing for Adventure mode. With 90% of the writing for Chapter 3 done, and the rest tweaks, some attention can once again be turned to Adventure mode. Because seriously, it really needs some love.

Buka Chan will now be drawing up key feature frames (the extra things that pop in on top during dialogue) for Chapter 3. They’ll also be continuing adding new character avatar emotes as well as the usual coloring and lining of sexy scenes.

… also that Christmas drawing, which Buka Chan needs to get done before the year is out.
