[Progress Dump] September!

We got a public release out this month! 

And we felt good about it~! ^^

We also managed to get a good amount of art in, and a lot of fiddly code things done giving us a good stepping stone to move onto.

Zurizuri Engine

The Zurizuri Engine has been getting little updates lately, the majority of the works has been boring clean up and organization in preparation for what’s coming next. But here are some of the new things.

• Notification System now supports more types of notifications, like “Quick Save” and “Auto Save” ones!
• Better background transitions blending.
• Better Cutscene management.
• Auto Save now supported.
• Gallery Updated - Locked / Blurred images.
• Updated Camera System - can now handle scriptable screen effects (WIP).
• New Animation Tools have been created to speed up the creation of Cutscenes.
• New Workflow HUB (WIP) - saves us having to dig through a giant project.
• Updated Build Process - updated to handle public and patron releases better.
• General code improvements and bug fixes.

Plans for October

This month we’re working on getting Chapter 3 started, adding the first few scenes and some rough concept art. 

We’re also starting to finalize Chapter 2. Getting the next animation “Diana’s Solo Paizuri” in, reworking some of the dialogue, adding more sounds and polishing up some of the art. There’s also some more animation work to be done, but we’ll let you know which one, once “Diana’s Solo Paizuri” has been added.

Zuri Sama’s work schedule is still a bit of a mess. It’s just getting to that crazy time of the year for them. So they might not be posting as much again this month, the same as last. They’re foaming at the mouth about it… ._.

Buka Chan has also managed to organize a good chunk of time off from their day job, letting them put more time into Paizuri University! This could not have been possible without some careful budgeting and support from our Patrons! So a big thank you to our Patrons for their support! ^^

We’re also making a post today about Adventure mode and the new plan to keep it relevant. Since it’s not exactly a public feature, and more for patrons at the moment, the post is more focused around what our Patrons know. But we will make it public so people can at least see a bit of our process and make an informed decision on whether they’d like to support us or not.
