[Development] NPCs & Quests!?!

Just a quick update.
A few months ago I showed off this...
Ever since then I've been slowly working out how to turn that into what is going to make every single other 3D character possible for Paizuri University in our new first person areas.
And what will make that possible?
Well... a new NPC / Character Creator! That's what!
The NPC Creator is a system which will let us design and customize new characters quickly, so we can add them to the first person areas.
Think quests and random dialogue. ; )
This weekend, I started figuring out all the final gritty details on how it'll work and began the process of setting it up.
So far, we have new models, the ground work for quests, and some really really basic NPC AI.
In the 3D characters image you can see Kareen on the far left, Which is the original 3D character design!
In the middle and on the right are the new NPC models that will serve as the base for all NPCs made using the Creator. This is what we'll be using to build clothes and add personality onto to create unique NPCs.
Just in case you're confused, this is for the first person areas in Chapter 2 only, and not the visual novel dialogue with Buka chans 2D art.
We're also hoping to add a reward tier that will allow Patrons to design their own character that we can then add to the game. We have some of the details worked out for that, but there's still a fair amount of work to be done before we can add it. So expect more on that in the future.

You will be getting items in some side stories to help tell you more about what's going on in the main story as well as encourage you to explore areas you might not have gone to yet. But they won't be arbitrary, like get 10 dildos in exchange for a key to open a door to a chest that contains a potion to restore some mouldy cheese that someone asked for... or something like that. And even if we were going to do something like that, it would be for the sake of telling something humorous. If you have any suggestions for quest types you'd like to see, let us know and I'll make sure to take it into account when coding the quest system ; )
