[News] A Zuri Sama Update~!!

Hey y’all,

It’s been a while since I’ve done a proper update, and I feel like I owe everyone an explanation. There have been a few things happening for a while now and it’s about time I let y’all know.

Things have not been going too well regarding my health lately. Last year, a close family member passed away and I’ve been spending a lot of time with my family to help cope with the loss. The situation isn’t so simple either and it’s being made worse by several other family members. I’ll spare y’all from the details, but I’ll just say it hasn’t been good.

I haven't been well, and finding the energy at times has been difficult. Almost weekly something has been happening where I feel unexpectedly knocked down, only after just getting back up.

I’m still working on everything, but not at the same level I feel like I’m normally able to do. And it’s been hard to write lewd comedy or to even think clearly when everything has been so fucked up. I really don’t feel like myself.

I’ve been hoping things would get better, but after some recent news, I'm not sure how long it's going to keep happening.

And that’s what’s been happening.

I hope y’all understand, my intention is not to bring y’all down. There are plenty of things going on in the world right now that are out of our control that we are all dealing with. So I don’t want to add unnecessary burdens on y’all. I just don’t want to leave y’all in the dark especially when it comes to future works for Zuripai Games.

I also want y’all to know, I’m not giving up. I know what I’m going through is only temporary. So I’ll be doing everything I can to stay on my feet, doing what I can to distance myself from what I can, and working on things where I can.

Buka Chan has been working with me to keep the pace of content going, and helping manage posts. I’ve also been working with them to lift the overall quality of all our work. Unknown Sen has been polishing existing systems in Memento, while helping with research into new ones. And we are also working on alternative methods to support ourselves, without having a dependency on Patreon. We really want the next release to set the bar for all works to follow.

My goals with Zuripai Games have not changed either. More than ever I feel like the world needs to be honest with itself and laugh.

I don’t normally ask for help, but if you’re willing to support our work, now would be a good time. The extra support would really help us out and we’d be extremely grateful. If you can’t, that’s ok too, but you can also follow Buka Chan on Twitter and like and retweet their lewds.
