[Announcement] The Big Game~!!!

Hey y’all,

This year has been a crazy year!

This year we’ve managed to finish and release 4 games! 

• Paizuri University
• Full Moon Night
• Hypno Lovers
• Pinky Portable

With more in the works. And it would not have been possible without all y’all help! Thank y’all!

So, what’s this “big project” we’ve been talking about?

Time for a little backstory. *wavey screen effect*

In January 2017 we started Zuripai Games, releasing the Prologue of Paizuri University. It was our first ever lewd game and we really really didn’t know what we were doing.

What you probably didn’t know is that we wanted to launch with a completely different game. 

That game was called Paizuri Mansion and revolved around two characters, Dick Spacer and a plucky derpy girl named Belle, uncovering the mystery of a spooky mansion and having a lewd time doing it.

But we didn’t do it. It was too big! So we decided to go small, and from scratch. And ever since then, it has been in the back of our minds.

We didn’t know how long it was going to take, but we knew if we wanted to make something big, the only way to do it was to start small and work it up!

So we put our effort into Paizuri University, trying to work out what we wanted to do and what was possible. We honestly didn’t think it would take so long, and there were moments where we weren’t even sure if we could keep going.

But the thought of being another failed lewd Patreon on a heap of unfinished lewd projects was always there, and we knew we just didn’t want that at all.

So we persevered because we honestly wanted to do this, and we could not bring ourselves to give up on something we’ve come to love and enjoy. 

There were a lot of rough and difficult times. But the moments of laughter we’ve had as a team and shared through our stories, kept us going. We wanted to make more of that.

The journey has been long and hard. And as lewd game developers, we wouldn’t want it any other way.

Saying all that, we want to go big again. Taking what we’ve learned, to go even further. To learn more and create something that is a lot of fun, and brings a lot more laughs to y’all.

So we’re returning to the first project. The one we never made, and we’re going to make it! Though the project won’t be called Paizuri Mansion… it’s going to be called…

 Memento Mamori: A Ghost Hunting Mystery 

A play on words and charming euphemisms. 

You play as Dick Spacer, a private investigator hired by a ranked official from Good&Hard Secs pharmaceuticals to investigate strange happenings at one of their key facilities, the Mamori Mansion located in the Mamori Mountains. Upon arrival, things don’t go as planned and it’s your job is to find out what’s happened and solve the mystery, and have a lewd time doing it!

The story is set in the Paizuri World, and will continue to expand upon the lore and lewds of Paizuri University.

There’s still a lot of work to do, before any kind of release, but we want to let y’all know the title and what it’s about, to start making it a reality. 

Memento Mamori will be developed alongside our short stories and small projects over the coming years. With alpha releases to our Patrons! As part of bringing longer and deeper stories set in the Paizuri World to y’all, and working towards bigger games in the future!
