[Development] Zurizuri 1.5 Improvements Continue~!!!

Hey y’all,

I’ve been working on more Zurizuri Engine 1.5 upgrades this past month, fixing some issues and even doing a little preparation for android stuff.

So far everything is going really well with only a few more things to fix up before we start making new plans to take things even further!

And here are a few of the things I got up to~!

Build Editor Upgrade

The Build Editor has been in desperate need of an upgrade.

The GUI is a lot cleaner and easier to work with now. Previously I had to manually edit XML files to keep track of each build and its assets, which was a big pain in the butt. Now, I can handle it by clicking on things. 

It also saves us from having to rebuild constantly when something goes wrong or we make a mistake, so the changes are a huge time saver.

There's also an Android setting... though it's a work-in-progress. : 3

Thumbnail Generator

Creating all the gallery thumbnails were pretty time-consuming. Now, they’re not! 

I decided to create a better tool for us to use when generating locked and unlocked thumbnails. Before we could resize them, but we would then have to use photoshop to edit them. Now we can do it all in the editor. 

Super duper easy peasy!

Z-Script Viewer

I gave the Z-Script Viewer a massive overhaul.

As we’ve added more commands and features, I would usually throw things into the kitchen sink that has been the Z-Script Viewer. 

It still needs some work. But now! It’s super flexible and set up kind of like the Z-Script Analyzer, so we can extend it very easily when we add new commands in the future.

The improvements also make it possible to add code from the Z-Script Analyzer, at least that’s the plan. The more detail and feedback we can get as we work on it, the easier and quicker it will be to debug and fix things if we ever do something big again! ; )

Build Progress… uhh... upgrade…?

This… well… this is because of too much sugar I think…

When we hit build now, this is what help us keep track of progress... <_<"

Uhh… fun fact... ‘zuri’ means ‘rub’ in Japanese. >:D

It’s not super exciting stuff, but I hope y’all liked it anyway. 

These changes are part of giving ourselves a better foundation to work from when we attempt to do something as big (or bigger) then Paizuri University again.

And so far it’s going well, and we can’t wait until we can do something crazy fun with it again~!
