[News] Big Reward Tier Changes~!!!

After a lot of reading and taking some recommendations from Patreon, we’re restructuring the reward tiers!

Jumping to the biggest change first, we’re updating Teaspoon ($1) to only show behind the scenes news, works in progress and private polls. Meaning Tablespoon ($3) will now be the lowest reward tier which will give y’all access to downloads.

We had a few patrons in the past leave complaining that they weren’t getting enough. These complaints came from only a few supporting in the $1 tier. So we figured, putting downloads in the $1 tier should keep them happy.

We now know that was a bad move. Undervaluing our work, our efforts, our Patrons and stifling our own growth. Which means the whole project suffered. It wasn’t a good idea, and even when we made those changes, some still complained!

To be clear, not everyone in the $1 tier complained. Many of you have been longtime supporters, moving around the tiers a lot, and coming and going, which is super fine, especially if you’re supporting other creators. So keep spreading your love around! ; )

But enough about that! 

Here are the changes! We’ve also included a little information section below the list of changes, giving you a bit more information about what exactly each perk is inside the reward tiers.

Teaspoon ($1)

For fans who want to know a little more about what we’re doing and are happy with public releases.

Tablespoon ($3)

For fans who want all the new things and want it before the public does.

Shot Glass ($5)

For fans who want a Shot at the lewd goodies early!

• Private poll access. With a vote count of 2.
• Access to exclusive Patreon only games.
• Access to the latest download 3 days early, and a month before the public.

What are “Behind the scenes news and updates”?

This is anything Patrons need to know about, such as changes directly related to Patrons, upcoming Patron only polls and details of important news that is affecting development.

What are “WIP sketches, concept art, and lewds”?

These are work in progress art by Buka Chan, which include practice drawings, sketches and concept art of anything naughty and lewd. 

They’ll be posting these infrequently throughout the months.

What are “Finished lewds and other art”?

This will be art that is completed by Buka Chan, of any naughty and lewd drawings and scenes that are coming up. This won’t be all the lewds scenes because that would be silly and spoiler-y, but we’ll selectively post a few as a teaser. 

They’ll also be posted infrequently throughout the months.

What is “Private poll access”?

This is access to polls you can vote on, that will influence our decisions during development. We’ll still be doing public ones especially if we need more feedback, but any major ones will be for Patron’s only.

What is “Access to exclusive Patreon only games?”

These are short stories that expand on the Paizuri World that are only ever going to be released to Patrons. 

So little naughty character moments, and even introductions for new ones, in the Paizuri World. Each one will vary in length, from the length of a Prologue to a single Chapter of Paizuri University.

What is “Access to the latest download a month before the public”?

These are multi-chapter stories which can be anything set in the Paizuri World, or something brand new. For example, Paizuri University is 6 chapters (inc. the Prologue and Epilogue).

It also means you get the latest download of anything we make one month before the public gets it. 

The higher your reward tier the earlier you get it, this also applies to exclusives. Making you a super awesome patron who has access before anyone on the planet even gets to play it. : 3

We’re sorry to anyone who doesn’t like these changes, and we’ll understand if you no longer want to support us. But be sure to politely let us know in the feedback too. You’re always welcome to come back if you do like what we’re doing again, just don’t burn the lewd bridge!

We’ve also left a few new perks out, for now, so we don’t overpromise. But, as we continue to work and get into the rhythm of all the changes, we will be adding them. So expect some additional reward perks in the future! ; )
