Back at work again, here's a lore sneak peek

Howdy folks!

Back now from my break over the Holiday season!
Hard at work with the comics, gonna start uploading next week, in the meantime, here's a sneak peek on upcoming lore posts for the setting!

I've decided that the Warforged race is a part of the setting, been a bit on and off with how I feel about the fantasy robots in the past but I'm liking the idea. Wanna get my own spin on it though. Trying to find my own design for the tinfolk, along with another name. The Forged I liked but a LOT of others have named their "not-Warforged-but-Warforged" race so I'm gonna change that when I come up with something!

Bit of a spoiler but in the future, I'd like to make a Patreon exclusive comic series. The current idea is MOUNTAINBOUND, a story of a joint venture by the Dwarven Realms to lay claim to a mine, traveling across the vast Elrudian Empire to the Turvilian wasteland. Still workshopping the story, might it too much of a discount "The Hobbit" storyline.

But an all Dwarf company goes out into the world to do something!

See you next week! :D

Ah ha, will you begin referring to upright, bipedal, 2 armed beings by their correct name? That correct name obviously being dwarfanoid ((as opposed to humanoid)). Had a campaign where we had several dwarves on the party, AND, by coincidence, the whole party spoke dwarvish. We decided that unless specified, the party spoke dwarvish amongst themselves (to confuse those silly common-speakers), & that "humanoid" was a racist/species-ist term. The preferred term is dwarfanoid. Or dwarvenoid. Whichever sounds better while talking.

I was also a bit waffle-y on the idea of sentient robots in my fantasy games. That's why I had most golems be non-sentient creatures more like basic undead or lesser elementals, and any sentient ones had some biological brain in there, mostly cloned (and therefore blank to start with) but sometimes implanted. Either that, or possession via spirit. For some reason fantasy brain transplants make more sense to me than fantasy general AI, dunno why. Had one of my players pick a rogueish character once who was a warfroged made sentient by the implanted brains of 50-60 rats, he was fun.
