Blackadder Poll

At the conclusion of Dad's Army series 3, we'll be switching over to Blackadder for a little variety before continuing with Dad's Army. There seems to be a debate over which series is best to watch first. I've got people telling me to start with both series 1 and 2. I understand series 1 isn't considered that great, but I don't want to sell the show short. Let me know what you think about which series I should watch first.
