Demo 0.2 update

Hey all,

Just trying to keep everyone up to date with the current status of 0.2. So far I've done the bulk of Lillith's progression. I've had to rework and recode the Checklist menu, but it's now much cleaner, and there are multiple checklists you can scroll through (so it doesn't end up just as one giant list, but one based on each character + main story.) 

I've been implementing the PDA / phone menu. Which is where you can check relationships with characters, look at messages from characters (some might even send a saucy image ;) ), set your phone background etc. I'll probably be adding more to that as the game progresses on. In fact I'm tempted to slim down the pause menu and put some of the features in the phone menu (like journal, objectives etc). Let me know what you think on that.

By the end of the week I should have the phone menu complete and the little outstanding bits of Lillith's progression done. Next week I'll be working on the battle system and getting work started on that, though it will almost certainly not be complete in time for the 0.2 release. Depending on bugs and alpha testing, I may have the 0.2 demo version ready by Friday 24th, but if not it should be the 27th at the latest.

Witchking is working on Shelly's progression images for this month, which means the 6 main characters (crew, except Shuma) will have all their first level progression artwork done. After a few random bits and pieces are done in February (for art) the focus will then be on main story progression for a brief bit, before returning back to the main cast again.
