The Arcane Hacker

After developing a highly successful MMORPG and winning several awards, Kael thought he would finally feel fulfilled, but that feeling never came.

Despite the millions of dollars he was paid each month, the luxury cars he drove, or the beautiful women he spent the night with, none of it satisfied Kael.

But all that changed when Kael woke up in the body of a young boy in a medieval world.

To discover that this world had magic was a great surprise to him, as he had always dreamed of it, and to discover that he had eyes capable of seeing and scanning mana was even more surprising.

The previous owner of this body may not have understood the capabilities of these eyes, but with years of practice in programming and logic, Kael was able to analyze patterns and understand that with these eyes and the knowledge he had, his potential was unlimited!

If spells make mana follow patterns of movement, and I can see mana with my eyes, can't I just copy all the spells I see?

After analyzing the Fire Dragon Magic that a mage used in front of me, I could now use the Fire Dragon Magic myself!

Your Ice Domain magic seems very strong, but with my magical eyes, I can see a small weakness that with a touch of my finger... sorry, did I destroy your magic?

Did it take you so long to create this magic? As far as I can see, there are several points where this magic can be improved... see? Now this magic is many times stronger!
