Added 2024-07-10 03:06:44 +0000 UTCHey guys, the creative block I had with Game Maker was bigger than I thought. I tried to keep writing the fanfic, but nothing came out, so to make up for it, I decided to use the Marvel: Game Maker world idea to develop a new story.
No, I'm not giving up on Game Maker, but I need a break to reorganize myself and let my mind rest on this story for a while.
Since developing an original story is easier because I don't have to consider the actions of characters that already exist, it gives me the freedom to create original characters that don't interrupt my writing flow to think "what would this Marvel character do in this situation?
So as not to leave you without any new content, I'll post the new story here on patreon, and depending on your reaction, I'll also post it publicly in the future, of course, always leaving you with advanced chapters here.

00 - God of Internet
Adrian, a 21-year-old game developer, had just graduated from college with a guaranteed position at one of the country's largest game development companies, but instead of his dream coming true, it ended in a car accident after his graduation party.
When he woke up, Adrian found himself in the body of a 17-year-old high school graduate.
But to his surprise, this boy wasn't graduating from an ordinary school, but from a school of the gods!
Having taken over the body of a young god, Adrian had thousands of ideas on how to use his divinity of creativity to get as many believers as possible.
Adrian realized a great way to get thousands of believers quickly. "Can't I use my deity to make games and ask for prayers for believers to play my games?
Do my believers need something to fight monsters with? I'll make a game where they can capture monsters that will fight for them and evolve!
Do a red fire dragon, a blue water turtle, and a green plant frog look familiar? It's just a coincidence.
Is my believer's technology too weak? What changes can an intelligent AI assistant bring to people's lives?
When the God of Lightning decided to invade the realm of My Faithful, the creatures he encountered left him speechless.
"The God of Creativity wasn't weak! Where did so many powerful monsters come from?" The God of Lightning cried out in despair.
"I'm no longer the God of Creativity, I'm now the God of the Internet!" Adrian said with a smile as he ordered his followers to attack the enemy army.
From the young god with the weakest and most underestimated divinity in the class, who no one believed could graduate, to the god the other gods can only look up to, this is the journey of Adrian, the God of the Internet.

Just to spit ball some more ideas for games that could give him and his believers some advantages. FATE FGO this will give access to The Throne of Hero’s allowing his believers to summon heroes from Legend. It could also give him subordinates that he could have help him do things he can’t do normally and could give him a minor divinity for the concept of heroes and legends.

2024-07-10 04:59:00 +0000 UTCSounds interesting and looking forward to reading this story but would you mind answering some questions of mine? Is his creativity = creation or imagination? Cause if it's creation it would not seem the kind of concept that would be considered weak by other gods nor imagination since that would also be a sub of creation it's just creation without a set of rules or laws to explain it. Now if he were to have a divinity of entertainment/games/enjoyment I could see how other gods would look down on him and underestimate his power. I feel that would work better as his divinity given the summary you gave, but it is your story and I'm here to enjoy it. Thanks for the new story.
