231 - On Speaker

"Hey Anna, is Alex back to normal?" Kitty asked curiously.

Sighing as she looked at her phone, Anna denied it. "No, he's been gone for a couple of weeks now. It's not like he's specifically ignoring me, but he doesn't even answer my messages. He just pops up every few days and then disappears after a few hours..."

Hearing this, Kitty became even more suspicious. "Have you noticed that Oasis hasn't received any major updates for a few days now?"

"Yes, Need For Speed has been postponed until next week, but normally Oasis wouldn't go that long without announcing something big." Jean agreed.

"Do you think it has something to do with Alex?" Anna asked, trying to see if the girls had the same suspicions as she did.

"I'm not sure, but there are a lot of coincidences... he has a one-digit nickname, an Ender Dragon cover, he knows things about ESW that no one should know, all the games he plays he's very good at, but even though he's a social person he's never thought of streaming, and not to mention he seems to be very rich!" Kitty said everything she had noticed, shocking Anna and Jean.

Seeing the girls staring at her in disbelief, Kitty was confused.

"What? Why are you looking at me like that?" Kitty asked.

"Nothing, I just didn't know you were so observant." Anna replied honestly.

"Same." Jean raised her hands as she admitted it as well.

Hearing the two girls' explanation, Kitty became frustrated and puffed out her cheeks.

"I'm not an idiot..." Kitty complained, making her two friends laugh.

"But back to the point, do you really think Alex has something to do with Oasis?" Jean asked curiously.

"Maybe..." Anna said a little unsure. "Remember when I said that he used a spell on me to take away my power while we were... you know... I found out that that spell was a level 27 spell in Elder Scrolls: Warcraft."

Hearing this, Jean and Kitty were shocked, if before what they had was just a doubt, now it was practically a certainty.

"Don't tell anyone, I don't want anything bad to happen to him because I found out!" Anna said worriedly when she realized that she might have said too much.

But Jean and Kitty smiled as they replied. "Don't worry, I have nothing to gain by spreading it around, especially after he saved my life."

Kitty also nodded her head. "I'm not ungrateful either, he saved my friend's life and is a great friend to my other friend, of course I won't do anything bad to him."

Relieved, Anna sighed, satisfied with the way her friends were.

Ring Ring Ring

Suddenly, to her surprise, Anna's cell phone started ringing.

Curious to see who was calling her at 11 p.m., Anna was surprised to see that it was Alex!

"Speak of the devil." She laughed as she clicked to answer the call.

But before Alex could say anything, Kitty kept telling her to put the call on speaker, thinking that Alex was going to talk about something they were just discussing.

Thinking that might be the case, Anna thought for a moment and decided to put the call on speaker.

"Hey sweetie, how are you?" Alex asked in a relaxed voice.

"I miss you..." Anna mumbled and regretted putting the call on speaker, she was embarrassed to act like that in front of the girls.

"How about we take a trip together?" Alex suggested, making Anna look surprised.

Jean and Kitty were even more surprised because although they imagined Alex to be rich and thought he might work at Oasis, they had no proof.

But since he had just called Anna to travel overnight, wasn't that something only those handsome and arrogant rich CEOs in Korean dramas did?!

Kitty had to stop herself from screaming with excitement, while Jean looked at the big smile on Anna's face and felt a little jealous.

"Sure, I can miss a few days of school to travel!" Anna confirmed excitedly, trying to imagine where Alex would want to take her.

"I'm glad you're excited, it would be good if you sorted out clothes to stay for at least three or four days, and summer clothes because it's very hot there." Alex explained, remembering the heat of the ninja world.

"How hot is it there? Where is it? Is it in South America?" Anna asked excitedly, thinking that Alex might want to take her to the beach in Rio de Janeiro?

"I'm going to take you to a place you've never been before, a place that no one in the world except me has ever been to!" Alex said while acting mysterious, which made Anna's face turn even redder in anticipation.

"Really?! That sounds cool!" She replied excitedly, but Kitty was very curious about the mystery Alex was creating and started waving Anna over to ask him where it was.

Since I can't go, I at least want to know where it is...' Kitty thought excitedly.

Anna understood Kitty's question and saw the look on her face, although she accepted that this was a surprise, she still wanted to help her friend reduce her anxiety and asked.

"Can you give me a clue where it is?" Anna asked.

"Hm..." Alex thought for a moment before answering. "The clue I can give you is that the place is otherworldly!"

Hearing this, the expectation of the three girls increased even more, so that Kitty almost exploded with fear and asked Anna for more tips.

"What do you mean?" Anna asked curiously.

"I think I can tell you that this is not the end of the surprise, in fact I'm going to literally take you to another universe." Alex said with a proud smile. "But don't tell anyone, no one can know that I can go to other worlds."

Knowing that the line was secure because he was calling through the Oasis app, Alex didn't worry about anyone listening in on his call and hearing what he was saying, so he finally told Anna part of his secret.

Seeing how much fun and relaxation he and Bee were having in the ninja world, he felt guilty for not telling Anna about it, so he finally decided to tell her that very day.

Although Tsunade tried to talk to him, he was so focused on how he was going to convince Anna that he didn't even pay much attention to Tsunade, who after a while gave up in frustration and left angrily.

But even though he knew that no one had tapped his line and that the call would be monitored online, Alex hadn't imagined that Anna would show the call to his two friends.

And when he explained this to Anna, both Anna's and Kitty and Jean's expressions froze, with Jean and Kitty realizing that they had heard something they weren't supposed to hear, and Anna realizing that she had shown something she wasn't supposed to show.

"Alex... I don't think it's possible not to tell anyone..." Anna started to explain, feeling guilty.
