232 - Explanations

Stopping the yellow GTR in front of the X Mansion, Alex opened the door for Anna to enter, under the jealous eyes of Jean and Kitty.

"I'm sorry Alex, I didn't know you were going to say something so personal and Kitty kept asking me to let them hear what you were going to say." Anna apologized.

Activating the skill to deactivate her powers, Alex stroked her head as he calmed her. "It's okay, even though I thought I'd do this trip with you alone first, I wouldn't have a problem bringing them along in the future."

"No haha, I'm hiding here because so many people are looking for me all over the world." Alex explained, but that only made Anna more suspicious.

"Because of the games I created..." Alex explained.

Laughing at his reaction, Anna explained. "You always dropped a lot of hints about working at Mojang. Do all employees get a house like this?"

"Employees? Mojang doesn't have employees." Alex explained confusedly.

"No? But what about you?" she asked.

"Me? I'm the owner." Alex explained.

They stared at each other for a moment until Anna asked. "But what about Notch?"

"I'm Notch." Alex explained.

Looking at him to see if he was serious, Anna was surprised that Alex wasn't lying.

"Are you serious?" She asked.

"Yeah, look." Alex said as he used the Mystique powers he had purchased and changed his appearance from Alex to Notch in an instant, causing Anna to be shocked.

"I've been dating Notch all this time?" She asked incredulously.

"No, you've been dating Alex the whole time, Notch is just a character." Alex explained as he stroked her head.

"Really? Do you remember the conversation we had in Minecraft?" she asked.

"Yeah, that I was the first person to touch your skin in the hypixel without getting hurt since you got your powers, right?" Alex said, remembering well the conversation he'd had with her.

Hearing this, Anna's eyes turned red.

After so many years of being isolated with her powers, she had managed to find a place where she could act normally, touch people without them dying, she had even found a boyfriend who could deactivate her powers, treated her well, wasn't afraid of her, everything had always seemed so magical and to find out that it was all because of one person made the amount of emotions in her chest so great that she couldn't control it.

Seeing Anna start to cry, Alex despaired as he began to apologize and hug her. "I'm sorry, baby, I didn't mean to lie to you..." Shaking her head, Anna quickly denied it as she explained.

"One day I woke up in this place with the powers to make games like the ones you played, this place allows me to go to different worlds, one of the worlds is yours, the other world is the one I intend to take you to." Alex explained.

For a while he wondered if he was going to explain about her world, that it was just a fictional world in his world, but thinking about how strange that would be, Alex only explained some things and left others unexplained.

It wouldn't do for her and the other people in her world to know that they lived in a fictional world, not to mention that he didn't want to tell anyone about his system either, so this was the best way he could find to explain it.
