We switched a nod and jumped off the building. Remy used the superior agility he had to fall from surface to surface toward the ground, while I decided to put into practice a bearing that he had taught me. Jumping from over 15 meters, I used my sturdy body along with the technique I had learned to roll over and diminish as much as possible of the sound my fall would cause.

I could quietly jump off the building directly onto the ground, but the noise of my fall would probably alarm the guards unnecessarily. With the bearing I used, the falling noise was almost completely cancelled out.

When we were on top of the building, we decided to use the approach we used to use, I would be the front-line while Remy would support me with his letters. This strategy had worked so far, and it matched our strengths.

Knowing that he was ready because of a slight purple glow that I saw above a staircase near the building, I waited for a moment when the street was with as little movement as possible and broke down the metal door. Remy would join me in a moment.

With my hearing, I'd already found out there were two security guards in here. Adding my element of surprise and my clearly abnormal speed, I used my hearing as a sonar and ran directly to the nearest guard who was still in shock at what was happening.

His hand hadn't even started to bend down to the waist towards the gun and I'd already hit my punch in his chest, feeling some cracks probably coming from some broken ribs.

I turned to the other security guard and as he was getting ready to pick up the gun, I gave him a little blow to unbalance it until a purple letter reached him and exploded before knocking him out and leaving some slight burns on his skin.

I never stopped to comment on that, but the explosions in Remy's letters are really like explosions. Depending on the proximity it may even open skin and burn the person's flesh alive, although Remy usually holds on so as not to cause carnage, but after hearing a little more about his father's Scientists Guild actions yesterday our determination grew inversely proportional to our pity, which was diminishing.

Without saying a word, we look at the metal door with a digital reader on the side and approach. This surprised me a little, since this technology seemed much more advanced than the computer I had at home... maybe I should get some parts to improve my computer? Yes! Definitely.

I might as well force this door open with my strength, but that would probably set off the alarms the moment I did and we'd even run the risk of being trapped inside the high, so with a smile on my face I approached the man I'd broken his rib and carried him like a doll across the floor until I put his hand on the reader to unlock the door as I ignored the screams he gave when I "accidentally" forced his chest which had broken ribs.

Looking at the elevator buttons, apparently the N.Y. base of the Scientists Guild was underground even though it was built in an 8-story building. Without thinking twice, Remy and I get in the elevator and push the button on the first floor underground to get access to the stairs.

We could press the button on the top floor underground, but since we only use the digital of an ordinary guard, he probably wouldn't have the authority to go to the top floor, since the stairwell safety doors we could destroy quickly.

Doing this, on the first underground floor we find a reception with only one man sitting at the table apparently sleeping. The noise of the elevator opening the doors woke him up, but before he could reason what was happening, I ran to his side and dragged him away from the table to prevent him from triggering any kind of alarm.

Remy took a rope and tied the man to the chair before he put a ribbon in your mouth to stop you from screaming. That was safer than passing out, since one hour he could wake up and fuck up with everything.

After tying him up, we ran to the ladder that was locked and this time we didn't use politeness. With my strength and speed I ran towards the door and broke it down causing a little noise on this floor, which could have left people on alert.

When we broke down the door that separated the first from the second floor, I could hear some voices.

-- What's going on? –

-- What's that noise? –

-- Stay on guard, I'll call the first floor and ask what's going on. –

Hearing these three men talking, I decided to accelerate even more, they were taking their time to react because the alarm had not yet been triggered, so we would still have a few more seconds to go down without anyone getting in the way.

Breaking down door after door, in 30 seconds Remy and I arrived on the top floor, and to my surprise, there was one person apparently speaking alone, oblivious to what was happening out here.

-- Hmm, right, guinea pig number 56 couldn't resist the fire test. Start the test on guinea pig 57 in five minutes. –

Hearing what he was saying, I ignored the voices of the soldiers who were looking for us on the upper floors and quickly broke the door down on the top floor.

There, we found a giant man wearing a white scientist's jacket while holding a clipboard. He had a bald head with a black goatee and giant muscles like an ox, but what surprised me was that he was carrying some glass bottles around his waist like they were... bombs?

"Hohoho, how did you kids get here? The useless let you down without doing anything to stop it? I wish you'd killed them, if not, I'll do it myself after I've done some experiments with you." The man said.

Paying attention to his jacket, I saw the name on a little plate hanging. [X3 - M. Morlak]
