Where did they say you can listen to those audio clips from the arcade game?

Ack. I meant to post on the Snow White post but forgot 😅 I never know if y’all go back to those post Talk to the Audience but either way here’s what I got. Hearing y’all talk about the bed building sequence with the dwarfs at the end immediately took my mind back to the 2009 Snow White Diamond Edition blu-ray, where one of the special features is for an abandoned Snow White sequel called Snow White returns and no this wasn’t during the direct to release sequel days this actually was under Walt Disney himself. It likely would’ve been short in length with the plot being the Dwarfs receive a letter from Snow White who plans to visit, so they make a bed for her and antics ensure. It ends with the dwarfs discovering Snow had arrived and fallen asleep on their beds in the cottage so they chose the sleep in the new bed. Also one beat in the 1959 Disney Sleeping Beauty sees Prince Phillip (No not that one) get captured by the villain and escape from the castle, originally intended for the Prince in this film (Snow White) but was cut for obvious reasons.

If I may add to this as well, I had a podcast recently revolve into a YouTube and while it’s not bad it usually ends up with YouTube being the main channel with podcasting as secondary. And with this just ripping the audio and slapping on the podcast feed which while I’m not opposed to, would be nice if they edited the audio for podcasting as well. (A lot of dead air in some cases.)

Those Krusty SFX from Virtual Bart reminded me of the noises he made during his impromptu audition for that hemmorrhoid infomercial. Edit: Whoo! Got my comment read!

I actually bid on that duckman cel! Had i have known it was you (bob) I wouldn't have driven the price up. I actually had gotten a couple cels off of that same guy. One of Bernice pointing at the TV with a great background which was really cheap and another of duckman corned and art desalvo dressed up from the star trek episode. I framed them together and would now grab that picture if the house was on fire and then go back in for my wife and kids.

I want to express my gratitude for the Talking Simpsons Network sticking to the audio-only podcast format. Several of my favorite podcasts have experimented with the addition of a video component, only for the video element to evolve into an essential part of the show. I catch up on all my favorite podcasts while walking the dogs or doing chores, and if I have to look at the screen to see what's going on, I'll usually take that opportunity to put on a different show. Thanks for keeping my ears company while my eyes are on the sidewalk!

Those Simpsons game clips are incredible and really shows how good Dan is especially at turning on various modes of Homer. Also: Henry needs to use his Simpsons Arcade Game cabinet more often!

I've been a Stonecutter for so long, I can no joke chart my transition and life and general from 2018ish and up through the 1000+ posts you have. I'm glad the old episodes are easier to get to, they're still perfectly cromulent and I have some have good memories attached. Feel like that Critic series is a must listen people might have missed out on due to it's age. Anyway, thanks for consistently delivering info and entertainment, it's all worth the 10.

Thanks for the solid month of podcasts and thoughtful responses to my comments! Not to get too personal, but I was just let go from a job that was extremely draining for me, and catching up on the Talking Simpsons network of shows was the one saving grace during that last week of said gig. Thanks for all you guys do! Listening to y’all appreciate animation artists and dive deeper into the cultural history of these works than most fan outlets really inspires me to make more compelling art!

Very serendipitous that Homer at the Bat was brought up this episode because I just listened to it a few days ago while catching up on a few random episodes I've missed in the last year.

Good episode! A couple quick comments on sports guys at the end. Michael Strahan is still a TV host of various shows, but hasn't been co-host of Live with Kelly and ____ since 2016. And as for Brett Favre, while the dick pic scandal was certainly gross, more recently he, a couple of Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase's sons, and several Mississippi State officials (allegedly) stole millions of dollars in welfare funds for various scam projects. In his case, it was building a new volleyball arena at the college his daughter played at. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mississippi_welfare_funds_scandal

I'm glad my comment could work as class conscious agit prop that makes people re-litigate the 2015 Democratic primary as all my comments should...even the ones about BattleBots...ESPECIALLY the ones about BattleBots.
