It's the programmer that was helping me out.
This was our only way of communicating, and he was doing this for free so that he could gain experience. (I offered to pay him, but he refused because we were on friendly terms from a common discord community)
I can probably make choices work, but if anything goes wrong, I'm not sure if I'll be able to fix it by myself... well, we'll see what happens. The only thing to do now is wait and see what happens.
I need to look for another programmer to help me out, unless he is able to contact me again by some miracle, but he had been missing for months before this happened, so I'm already in the phase of moving on so that the game doesn't get delayed.
I will be investing in a programmer sooner rather than later. If any of you have any recommendations on where to look, I'd appreciate it too.
On a brighter note, I've written to the point that includes the 1st and 2nd demo in the main game. Once I write 4 branching scenarios, two for Rachel and two for Ms. Marsh, there will be one more common scene to write. After that, once I have the resources, I will release the first part of the main game.
