Is this the first comic I’ve made about monkeys hijacking a banana truck? No. Will it be the last? Also no.
With a joke that’s really simple and visually interesting without too much complexity, it’s fun to take extra time and add details when I’m adding color. The reflective oakleys, the mud-stained truck and rear view mirror, and the glare from the sky in the last panel give a sense of place and feel to what’s ultimately a pretty uncomplicated premise. Definitely some classic beetle vibes with this one.
