Toby’s gone

This idea had been sitting in my notes for a pretty long time but I had trouble figuring out how to fit everything into three panels. Once i did a few sketches to get the first panel right, the rest kind of fell into place. The result is a little bit more crowded than I usually like, but I think it serves its purpose in its visual storytelling.
Also, since I really enjoy drawing skies and clouds, I’ve been taking pictures on my phone whenever I thought the sky looked nice, and then I use them as reference in the drawings. It creates kind of a weird effect panel-to-panel since the skies look pretty different from one another. But it’s interesting visually to me so imma keep rockin with it for now.
