Sandy's Treedome Rework Progress
Added 2019-09-06 22:45:03 +0000 UTCQuite some time has past since the last post, and I felt like it'd be best if I let y'all know the current progress for Sandy's Treedome. Right now the whole map's been redesigned, new cutscenes have been added and most of the objective stuff has been implemented. Now all that's left is to add the final sequence, add in the collectables and update the AI. Once all that's done, I can finally move onto balancing and polishing previous levels, add in some new features, bug fix, test it all, then upload here. I was hoping for an early September release, but since this stuff is looking pretty likely to take long, I'm gonna have to aim for a release next week. Hope y'all are A-okay with this delay. Hoping to have a private video out next week for all you lovely patrons, that'll show off current progress with the game, what the levels are looking like, etc.
For now, I leave you with this screenshot of the inside of Sandy's Tree. And yes, that's the objective right there on the top left corner of the screen. No more randomly placed torches that are used for melting the lock on the door. Now you gotta build yourself a flamethrower to burn down that frozen lock and get yourself out of there! lol. Hope this redesign will be more enjoyable to play, what with the new AI mechanics, objectives and collectables.
