She-Ra episode 16--Signals, part 2!

That was a pretty decent one! Team Evil was the most interesting part, and the glimpse we got of Hordak’s actual plans was fascinating. Is he trying to escape, or is he trying to link up with a preexisting empire? Entrapta was a delight as per usual, and seeing Catra grapple with the actual demands of running an organization like this will prove to be interesting as well.

On the goody-goods’ side of things, we have a simple mission that played out fairly predictably--the “supernatural” threat turned out to be normally explicable and harmless, and they resolved it without much issue. That structure at the end, though! Is that a spaceship? I think that’s a spaceship! Exciting stuff! I can’t wait for THAT plot thread to get tugged on.

All in all, a decent episode. Signals comes in at my new #1 for Season 2, above Ties That Bind, and my new #8 overall, between Princess Prom and The Beacon.

Up next is going to be more She-Ra! We’ll be starting the next episode on Friday, so stay tuned for that.

Streamwise, I’m planning to stream more Final Fantasy IX tomorrow, but that may be replaced by more Breath of the Wild depending on how I’m feeling. It may also get put on hold if I just feel like watching Games Done Quick all day, too. I’ve been feeling kind of bleh all week.
