Infinity Train episode 18--The Wasteland!

Holy fuck, that was a good one! That was SO good! I was expecting them to have a real character-examine-y conversation as the focus of the episode, but damn if that didn’t exceed all my expectations. The questions it raises about the train and the denizens’ place in it...holy shit. And MT! MT wasn’t demoralized for more than a moment! MT is determined to prove him wrong! Fuck yeah! That was awesome!
Holy shit, though. We just saw her fucking murder a man. Slowly and painfully. Yikes. I’m astounded that they let that one through. It was a great moment, but holy hell was it brutal.
Man. What an asshole Mace was. Emphasis on “was”. Very, very, “was”. But yeah, no, he’s such a prick, and definitely right up there with Amelia in the villains list of this show. Goooooood stuff.
And I just looked at the title. It’s the first episode not titled after a car.
This was such a good episode. The Wasteland comes in at my new #1 for season 2, above The Lucky Cat Car, and my new #2 for the series, between The Chrome Car and The Engine. Goooooood stuff.
Up next is going to be the next episode of Infinity Train! We’re going to plow on through the end of season two, and then do this month’s Patron Picks. Then we’ll be back to She-Ra after that, don’t worry! I’ll be doing more Infinity Train on Friday. Streamwise, I just did a Dead Cells stream yesterday--which you can watch here--and tomorrow I’m going to begin Alien Isolation! I’m not blind on the game, I know the story, but I’ve never played it, and I LOVE the Alien franchise.
