Yeah, the art style was definitely weird--not the backgrounds, obviously, those were beautiful, but the characters.

I have never watched the pilot, because frankly the art style and some small changes in the voices gives me the screaming heebie-jeebies (it looks the way wet clay or Papier-mรขchรฉ feels to me (an aspie with touch issues)) . I knew it had something to do with time travel, but that was all I knew. Well, now I have an idea!
