I am back hooooome (update)

Hi everyone! Many of you will probably know that I was away from home this weekend to attend the wedding of my brother. Damn, what an emotional event that was! My brother is only just younger than me (less than a year and a half) but a lot of people mistake us for twins. And when you watch the person you grew up with as a twin get MARRIED you CRY A LOT.

I've just arrived back in London though and looking forward to the week ahead! Tomorrow will be busy for me as I'll be heading to a friend's house to film a movie audition I was invited to do. I went to his place last week for dinner and to go over the sides together, so it's nice feeling like I'm going into the audition somewhat prepared. It's also cool because the casting director specifically asked me to audition for a character they thought I'd suit, and it's basically the exact character trope I'd want to be cast as.

I don't talk about it much at all, but much earlier in 2024 I started doing some freelance content production work for a local business here in London, but this week will be my final week working with them. It's kind of a shame; it was a totally new experience for me working with a business in that capacity, and I absolutely loved having a couple days a week where I knew I'd be interacting with real humans. With this role ending this week, I'll probably end up looking for something else to help pad my earnings. But just know that you guys supporting me here is so appreciated as the amount of broadcast work I've taken on in the past year or so has decreased.

One of the things I did last week was a songwriting/production session with a friend of mine, and we got to make some good headway on a song which should end up on the album. Being home now means I can go back in and work on that some more, along with the other 5 or so songs which need finishing by the end of December in order for me to keep on track with the album progress. Even while I was away over the last four days I kept listening over my WIP tracks and making mental notes of things I need to work on next. On the one hand it gets me so inspired and excited to work on the songs again, on the other it stresses me the hell out and makes me wonder wtf I am doing choosing to do this to myself. We all know which side ends up winning.

I plan to be back on Twitch this week streaming for you guys! Given that DJ streams can't be saved as VODs on Twitch anymore, I intend to upload the full sets here on Patreon from now on as I did this past week.
