Some Updates

Hey everyone! I wanted to come in and give you guys some updates, since it's been a little quiet here for a couple of weeks. Don't want y'all to think I've forgotten about you, or that I'm not cooking stuff up.

1.) The last couple weeks I have been going very hard on the album. It's funny, since deciding to work on an album, I've only become more and more enthusiastic about the idea, but it's also opened up the realisation that this is a BIG project. I'm paying such close attention to detail because I want everything to sound so good, and I'm making sure every song counts. Some evenings the past week I've just had a four bar section of a song on loop over and over while I tweak certain things. And every moment I've had to be able to work on it, I've taken it. Which has meant I haven't been blocking out content time.

It's definitely clear to me this album is going to take some time, but it'll be very worth it. I get concerned about not giving you guys enough right now, since you're being so gracious in supporting me, but ultimately we're all here for the music, right. So I'm just trying to be true to that and trust that the people who support me support that. I have been also generally trying to make movement on all the other aspects of the project: preparing and selling my first merch drop (here if you haven't seen already!), redesigning my website, planning shoots and videos and other miscellany (more on this in the upcoming episode of ENTER THE AESTHENOVERSE).

2.) I'm about to head to the US for a few weeks, so September will be weird for content. The next episode of ENTER THE AESTHENOVERSE will be pre-prepared and scheduled to be on time, and I may be able to schedule a couple of other things, but otherwise I'll be free-wheeling September. It could be that I get a load of BTS footage in Los Angeles that I can share with you on the fly (this is likely), and maybe even create some diary posts here on Patreon to keep you guys in the know of what I'm doing over there. But overall I won't be streaming and I won't be at home to create or edit very involved video content. I will be sad to not have those weeks to work on the album, but I also think having that time away from the PC to recharge and take inspiration from my favourite place on earth will be overall a very good thing.

3.) It's my birthday in a week! This isn't really a big announcement I'm just dreading it but also hope it will be good but also aaaah fuck my life. I hope 28 will be a big year for aestheno. I hope you guys stick around for the ride.
