Shoal Citadel

Hello all! Allow me to introduce you to the Shoal Citadel, an oceanfront, cliffside, walled in, multi-story tower. What had originally started as the premise for one of the asset packs' example maps, this scene quickly blossomed beyond that as I spent a good deal of time fine-tuning the water textures, shadows, and ripples before a single stone of the tower had been laid.

While my goal is-as always-to deliver you with a map that you might be able to find any manner of uses for, my 'head canon' is that this is the home of a reclusive sage, one who's taken the time to construct nice facilities above and around water-laden ruins that he's spent his entire life studying. If this scene and theme of 'oceanside occult' appeal to you, I'll also direct your attention to another map released back in Spring of 2024: the Tempestuous Portal, a scene that I felt many of you may be able to craft narrative connections between for use at your table.

What's included in the Download:

The 22x27 square map of the high resolution copy of Shoal Citadel, as previewed above
An "unfurnished" variant where all of the various furnishings (on all levels) have been taken away, lezzaving you with a simple, blank 'canvas' of a walled-in tower, ready for customization
A "barren" variant where all traces of the Citadel have been removed, as if they'd never existed. A scenic plateau looking over the cliffs here is a welcome sight.
